Day with Daddy

On Sunday Isabella and I spent the day with Daddy. We ate at Red Robin for a Father's Day lunch, where Isabella ate her weight in french fries and Sprite then headed to the pool. Unfortunately we didn't have the camera on us, but the interactive pirate ship at Woodland Park and beach-like entrace into the wading pool made for a fun afternoon. I thought after the fit she threw when we swam for the first time this summer with Emma and Noah (pictures below), which lasted for 45 minutes before finally enjoying the water, she'd have an equally hard time adjusting this visit. To my surprise, she was so adventurous! She loved walking into the water herself even if it meant being swept slightly away and getting a mouth full of water every once and a while. She wanted us to hold both her hands and spin her in the water and even treated the bars besides the steps entering the pool like monkey bars. Besides my sunburn, a perfect day.

Later that night we watched movies and Isabella cuddled with Dada (which can sometimes be a rare thing) and ate tons of grapes.

A wonderful Father's Day memory.
